ETA stands for Ellen’s Tribal Arts designed by Ellen Nadler. All her designs are based on authentic American Indian designs. Ellen was born in Estonia and graduated from MIT. She had a long and industrious career before moving to Tucson and starting her needlepoint career in her retirement. It was at Ellen’s needlework shop, Open Studio, where Cassie and Tish first learned to needlepoint. Ellen passed away in 2001.
